SkillsUSA Gold and Silver

LAMPE students Ethan Molero and Brandon Elkins (above) won Gold in 3D Visualization and Animation at the SkillsUSA regional competition, this past weekend.

Cameron Berckes and Tony Maida also won Silver for 3D Visualization and Animation, and Tatiana Lexin won Silver for CO2 Dragsters Engineering Design.

Congratulations to all of the students that placed and advanced to the State competition in San Diego.

Family Affair

MD1 students took a trip up to the Engineering classes to observe their bridge projects.

POE students got a chance to see the F-35.

Discovery Middle School

             On November 19, 2015,  65 STEM students from Discovery Middle School received a personal tour of LAMPE.  

     The students got a chance to see the Engineering Lab, Multimedia area, and a demonstration of manufacturing a robot.

AVC TheatreTour

The Tech Theatre students took a Behind-the-Scenes tour at AVC's theatre.  The students had the opportunity to see, first hand, how a large theatre is operated and managed.  Several former LAMPE students have gone through AVC's theatre production program.

Rose, Lanyell, Alex, Kirsten, Kayla, Michael, and Ian were the LAMPE Ambassadors of the day. 

46 STEM students from Endeavour MS came to visit LAMPE.  The students had the opportunity to see all of the LAMPE classes including the Engineering Lab.  There were a lot of questions asked as the students got the chance to see what LAMPE was all about.
