Hitting The Target

Mr. Cottrell's IED students

After discussing Nasa’s challenge of dropping items on target on the moon and planets such as Mars, students were given the challenge of building a device to move across the classroom on a line carrying a payload (marble) and somehow release the marble hitting the target.

It was an interesting challenge with many different designs and several successful on target drops.
